For 100 years, Tiferes Israel Synagogue has been the heart of our community — a place where generations gathered, celebrated, mourned, and grew together. Now, we’re throwing open those doors and inviting everyone to come home to
Congregation Tiferes Israel Synagogue.

This weekend is for you — whether you’re a current member, a former member, someone whose family was part of this congregation, a long-time supporter of the Moncton Jewish community, or someone who has been thinking about becoming a member. It doesn’t matter if you live right here in Moncton or haven’t been back in years. Kum a Heim welcomes all ages, 5 to 105, and anyone who has ever had a connection to Jewish life in Moncton. You don’t have to live away to belong here — if this community is part of your story, this weekend is yours.

Over three memorable days, we’ll gather around Shabbat tables, walk through the cemetery to honour those who built what we cherish, plant a tree for the next century, and dedicate a cornerstone to our future. You’ll reconnect with old friends, make new friends, meet relatives you never knew, and see photos and hear recordings that will take your breath away.
Most of all, you’ll be part of something that happens only once in a century.

Our younger generations — the kids, young adults, and the 20, 30, and 40-somethings — are not just welcome, they are essential. This is their moment to step into history and begin making the memories that will be celebrated in 2126 by their own children and grandchildren. You don’t need a grandparent who stood in this synagogue to belong here — you just need to show up and make it yours. The next 100 years of Moncton Jewish life starts with you, and it starts this July.

From 5 to 105 — this is your story. This is our legacy.
