Kum A Heim Kiddush
One of the most beloved traditions in Jewish life is the Kiddush — that magical moment after Shabbos morning services when the sanctuary empties and the Social Hall fills with laughter, conversation, and the irresistible aromas of a table set with love.
For one hundred years, Tiferes Israel has gathered its community around tables just like this one. And this Shabbos, we do it again — together — as part of our once-in-a-century Kum A Heim celebration.
Whether you grew up running through these halls as a child, or you’re returning after years away, or come to the Kiddush’s held weekly, this Kiddush is your welcome home. Pull up a chair, reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and let the spirit of Shabbos do what it has always done best — bring us together.
As it has always been done, our Kiddush will open with the traditional blessing recited over wine or grape juice — the time-honoured sanctification that formally ushers in the holiness of Shabboa before the meal begins.
